Canada (correct me if i'm wrong) uses card-check recognition on a national
basis. However, unions that have to be recognized under provincial law get
different treatment.

I think this is useful, because it shows that US labor law is arbitrary.
Are there any good comparisons of US labor law to that in Canada or in
Europe or other countries?
