of New Haven who comes to the field from an activism and youth
development background, to talk about Community Development and the
importance of community-based activism.

10-12 Mike Levien, Recent williams grad now working for Equity
Trust, to lead a workshop about the ins and outs of community
investment and a community investment campaign on college campuses.
Portland State students: talk about their community investment
campaign
12-1 Lunch
1:15-3:00 Discussion: priviledge and oppression in the student
movement: class, race, and gender
3:30-5:30 Basic Organizing skills. (Dara Silverman)
6-7 Media outreach. (Terra Lawson-Remer)
7:30 Dinner
SUNDAY
10-12 Strategy Session: Students strategize to get our universities
to invest locally. (Dan Rosan)
12:30 Socially Responsible Investing, in a broader light. What is
it? What are the ideas behind it? (Marguerite DoRosario, from CERES)
