Rebecca,

very very very impressive. I'd like to survey the workers here at
Washington University in St. Louis... Where could I find information about
what the "actual" living wage is here in St. Louis?

Thanks,
Ben

HI all, By way of an FYI, I thought you all might be interested in seeing AU Solidarity's living wage report which we just completed. It is based on surveys and interviews we did of campus workers, and contains recommendations for implementing a living wage at American University. We have submitted this to President Ladner and the Board of Trustees. Please feel free to share this with any interested parties.

The report is being released tomorrow (Monday) and coincides with a report being put out by the Living Wage Advisory Committee composed of faculty, students and staff. That committee has also decided to recommend that AU adopt a living wage for all direct and contracted workers.

Thanks, Rebecca Rebecca DeWinter rdewinter@netzero.net 202-364-3458
