Hi all --
USAS's Campus Community Solidarity Committee will be having an open conference call tomorrow -- Wednesday, February 20th -- from 10:30-11:30 PM EST. The call number is 530.642.5373. This is the one that had to be rescheduled from last Wednesday -- apologies to any of you who were unable to get on that call.
Again, the conference call is open to all students, particularly those interested in running or networking among students engaged in living wage campaigns, right to organize campaigns, and other campus/local labor solidarity initiatives. A description of the USAS CCSC follows -- we hope you are able to make the call! -- Amber (202 667 1155 for more information)
The Campus/Community Solidarity Committee helps build strong, mutually supportive relationships between USAS students and workers in their campuses and communities. It seeks to assist in national coordination and strategic planning of student/worker domestic solidarity campaigns, such as living wage, right to organize, and other struggles, and serves as a resource to students engaged in this work.
