May 1st National Mobilization and Lobby Day
Join immigrant workers in a national mobilization to demand:
labor rights for all workers
legalization for all undocumented immigrants
DC Action:
9am-2pm: Knock at the door of your Congressional Representative to demand permanent residency for all undocumented immigrants
3:30pm-5pm: Rally & Vigil for Immigrant Rights on Capitol Hill
Local Actions:
Hundreds across the country that can't make it to DC will visit their local Representative's offices
Organized by: NATIONAL LEGALIZATION MOVEMENT (FLOC, National Coalition for Dignity and Amnesty for Immigrants, Jobs with Justice, Mexico Solidarity Network, Latino Workers' Center, Asociacion Tepeyac of NY, LIUNA, SEIU, American Friends Service Committee, Border Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, CHIRLA, and many other unions, faith based, and community organizations)
