Already in the first quarter of 2002, Jobs with Justice is growing - New Coalitions, New Workers Rights Boards and New JwJ Staff - these are changes since we printed the 2001 Workers Rights Directory - see the website www.jwj.org for contact information.
New Coalitions
The Jobs with Justice network welcomes new coalitions in Columbus, Ohio, Toledo, Ohio and New Mexico!
2 New Workers Rights Boards already in 2002!
Central Indiana Workers Rights Board (Indianapolis Jobs with Justice) began with a powerful Right to Organize Hearing and the Kentucky Workers Rights Board kicked off with a hearing on injured workers and workplace safety.
New JwJ Organizers- More JwJ coalitions are hiring organizers. Please welcome
AZ: Maritza Broce - new Director of SAAEJ (SAAEJ collaborates with Jobs with Justice on the Tucson Area Workers Rights Board)
FL: Alicia Ybarra - organizer with South Florida JwJ
GA: Mary Beth Tschantz - organizer with Atlanta JwJ
MO: Lara Granich and Dianne Riley - both part time organizers with St Louis JwJ
NY: Emily Ng - organizer with Buffalo CEJ/JwJ
Simon Greer - Executive Director, New York City JwJ
