NPP Bulletin - Volume II, Update #6
********************************************************************************************
After several years of construction, the National Priorities Project is excited to bring to you the NPP Database. The NPP Database offers state-level data on socio-economic needs and federal expenditures and allows you to create customized tables, graphs and reports. It is user-friendly and free of charge. You can find it at: http://database.nationalpriorities.org/ Be sure to go to the "Help" section first to acquaint yourself with all the database features.
With a few clicks, this database provides you tailor-made, easy-to-understand information on how federal spending policies relate to state needs. We hope it will enhance your efforts on behalf of your communities and that you will find it a constant resource in your work.
The database will continue to expand to include more data, more features and more localities (city, county and congressional district are in the works subject to funding). As we build this resource, we welcome your suggestions. Please feel free to use the feedback function on the masthead to let us know if there are additional data areas that would be helpful to you, along with any other thoughts about the database as a whole.
