After some thinking and the realization that a conference call about New Era strategy on Monday might not be the best timing, the call is going to be rescheduled until next Thursday June 6 probably at 9PM est(unless lots of people have issues with that time).

The reason for this is mainly because there is a bargaining session Monday and it is imperative to know the results of the bargaining session before we continue to kick the shit out of New Era management. So get your ideas ready for Thursday instead!!

In the mean time, please check out these dates and places and let's see if we can get some people to commit to planning some fun filled actions. If you can mobilize some people to get to these places please let me know.

Here are the actions(as stated earlier in the New Era update)
+May 30th in Fort Lauderdale, New Era workers and supporters will attend the Sports Authority Annual Meeting and urge the company to stop buying New Era caps.
+June 6-9 in Westchester, NY, activists from the Westchester Labor Council will be leafleting at the Buick Classic Golf Tournament at the Westchester Country Club. Leaflets will focus on Titleist - a major buyer of New Era caps.
+June 14-16 in Farmingdale, Long Island, New Era workers and supporters from the Long Island Labor Federation will be leafleting at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament at the Bethpage State Park. Leaflets will focus on Titleist.
+June 19 in New York City, workers and supporters will attend the Foot Locker Annual Meeting (112 W. 34th St.) and urge the company to stop buying New Era caps.
+June 19, New York City, after the Foot Locker Annual Meeting, activists will hold a demonstration at the Major League Baseball headquarters at 245 Park Avenue.
+June (Date to be determined), leaflet at Yankees Stadium. We will get back with you as soon as we have an update on this event.
+July 9 in Milwaukee, workers and supporters will leaflet the Major League Baseball All Star Game. We expect this to be a large action and we encourage folks from throughout the Midwest to caravan to Milwaukee for this action.

thanks a bunch
Trina
