From Scott Nova:

As I reported to you on June 4, the WRC is continuing to assess code of
conduct compliance at New Era Cap Company's Derby, NY manufacturing
facility. We are working to produce a report on the current situation as
soon as possible. In consultation with New Era management, we determined
that in order to conduct the most accurate evaluation of present labor
practices and health and safety standards, it made sense to wait until the
return of striking workers was complete and the factory was functioning
normally, before conducting a new on-site inspection. The earliest the
inspection could be scheduled, given this constraint, was the second week of
September and the WRC investigative team will visit Derby at this time --
the week of September 9th. At this time we will meet with New Era
management, conduct a health and safety review, and interview workers and
union officials. New Era management has been cooperative in arranging the
necessary meetings and factory access.

In view of this timing, we expect to have a report to you during the week of
September 23rd.

Best,

Scott
