JOIN US FOR A HISTORIC MARCH AND RALLY!!
Day Laborers from Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Oakland, Mountain View, San Rafael, and other west coast cities will be in San Francisco on September 9 to march in solidarity with San Francisco day laborers!
WHEN: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, MARCH STARTS AT 11:00.
WHERE: CESAR CHAVEZ ST. AND HAMPSHIRE ST. (IN FRONT OF ROLPH PARK).
WHAT: WORKERS AND ALLIES WILL MARCH FROM CESAR CHAVEZ ST. TO CITY HALL. A NOON RALLY AND WORKER PICNIC WILL FOLLOW.
Support SF day laborer demands:
1) Mayor Brown must not take away Day Labor Program funding from La Raza Centro Legal!
2) Stop police harassment of day laborers on Cesar Chavez St!
