YOUTH BLOC'S FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR
Youth Bloc is a coalition organized by and for New York City high school students that mobilized hundreds last year for successful actions to stop the budget cuts to our schools and stand up for global justice against the World Economic Forum. Now it's time for youth to fight war, not wars - with the war on Iraq and anywhere else in the world they want to send young people to fight, and the ongoing war at home on people of color, working people, dissident voices, all of us.
Tuesday, November 5th, 4:30 - 6:30
At Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South (side entrance at 241 Thompson St.), take the A/C/E/F to W 4th Street, N/R to 8th Street/NYU, 1 to Christopher Street, or 6 to Astor Place.
Spread the word to every young person of conscience you know.
