RALLY IN SUPPORT OF A LIVING WAGE FOR AU WORKERS!!!

Tell President Ladner that it's time to stop stalling and to implement a living wage with benefits for all AU direct and contracted workers!

For over two years, students and workers have campaigned on AU's campus in support of a living wage that would allow AU workers to cover the basic necessities of life, such as food, housing, healthcare, childcare, transportation, and education. Last Fall, President Ladner appointed a Living Wage Project Team, comprised of faculty, students and staff, to look into the issue. That Team unanimously recommended last February that AU implement a living wage of $12.58 plus benefits on par with direct AU employees. Since then President Ladner has not moved to implement that recommendation.

Join us to show that the AU and DC community believes that workers deserve a living wage!!!

When: Tuesday, October 29, at 12:30pm
Where: AU's main quad, 4400 Massachusetts Ave.
